At Arbor Terrace of Athens - Assisted Living we strive for more than just bingo and a bouncing ball, we go above and beyond to offer the best quality of life for each resident. Individual preference and personal history is incorporated into our Engagement Program, offering balance to the day and meeting each resident where they are physically and cognitively.
Arbor Terrace of Athens - Assisted Living's daily schedule offers a variety of activities in these categories:
- Productive. Opportunities that provide a sense of value and meaning such as participation in a community service project or helping set the table for lunch.
- Leisure. Moments that creates a sense of fun and fellowship such as enjoying popcorn and a movie or joining in a sing-a-long.
- Self-care. Programs that help take care of our body and minds as well as more intimate offerings such as manicures and foot baths.
- Rest. In addition to sleeps, opportunities that help us relax, unwind and rejuvenate such as religious programs or a walk outside.
Just as we recognize that balance is important to quality of life, we also recognize that the right amount of support is just as important. That's why we offer a variety of programming schedules based on the physical and cognitive needs of each resident – we call it Gem Level Programming.
